i like to understand the problem before i write anything. who's reading this? what are they nervous about? what do they already know? that usually means i'm deep in research, user data, or a whiteboard session before a single word hits the screen.
over several contract engagements at intuit, across credit karma and turbotax, i worked on cross-product experiences where the content had to do real work: reduce confusion, build trust, move people through complex flows. a few of those projects drove measurable revenue.
more recently, i've been working closer to ai. i collaborated with turbotax's ai team on prompt iteration and human review for personalized content, and i wrote a strategy proposal for how content should behave across different ai agent states. i've also had a lot of fun vibecoding and built this website with claude code. it's a space i want to keep growing in.
