St. Baldrick's Foundation
Nonprofit Web Copy & FAQ
St. Baldrick's Foundation is a nonprofit that funds childhood cancer research grants. Their signature fundraising model, community events where people shave their heads in solidarity with cancer patients, built the organization's identity. But some supporters wanted to fundraise without braving the shave.
The Do What You Want (DWYW) program was created to address that need, but its direction and branding were a bit neglected. I pushed for a revamp to give it structure, rewrote the landing page copy, and created all-new FAQ copy so supporters could easily understand their options.
My input
- Analyzed all DWYW fundraiser data to create categories that helped the fundraiser specialists better serve volunteers with targeted resources
- Rewrote landing page copy in a friendly, encouraging tone reflective of SBF's mission
- Created a new FAQs section and wrote all FAQ copy to provide guidance and distinction from other SBF offerings
Landing Page Refresh
Rewrote the Do What You Want landing page to clarify the program's purpose and help supporters understand how their unique fundraising ideas fit into the organization's landscape.
FAQ Copy
Created a new FAQs section from scratch: wrote all copy to provide guidance for potential fundraisers and distinguish DWYW from other SBF programs.
